Shipping Policy

This page explains how orders leave the store and what you can expect while a parcel is on the way. The exact shipping methods, prices, and destinations are the ones shown on the checkout page when you place the order. Those checkout choices control your order. This page explains how to read them.

Orders with a merchandise total of 20 US dollars or more ship free within the United States. Orders under 20 US dollars have a flat shipping charge of 5.95 US dollars, shown at checkout before you pay. The threshold uses the merchandise total before tax. After the carrier receives the parcel, delivery inside the United States is usually 3 to 7 business days. That range is an estimate, not a guaranteed date.

Where we ship and how you choose a service

During checkout you will see the delivery services available for the address you entered. A service may be unavailable for some countries, remote postcodes, or parcel sizes. If no service appears, we cannot ship to that address with the options currently offered. Do not complete checkout hoping for a method that was not listed.

The price of each service is added to your order before you pay. Taxes, if any, are also shown before you confirm. Please review the total. Once you place the order, the service you selected is the one we will try to use.

Transit times displayed beside a service are estimates from the carrier, not a guaranteed delivery date, unless the checkout text for that service says otherwise. Weather, customs, and local disruptions can add time. We do not control the carrier after the parcel has been handed over.

When we hand the order to a carrier

We prepare paid orders in the order they can be packed. An item that is in stock is fulfilled as soon as we reasonably can. We email a shipping confirmation within 2 business days after payment. If that message has not arrived after 2 business days, write to owalalife@gmail.com.

The confirmation email, when the carrier provides one, includes a way to follow the parcel. Tracking can take a short time to show the first scan. A delay before the first scan does not by itself mean the parcel is lost.

Addresses we cannot deliver

Give a complete address, including any apartment number, and a name the carrier can match. We cannot promise delivery to an address the selected carrier will not serve.

Orders placed for delivery through a freight forwarder or a similar forwarding service are not accepted. If we identify that kind of address, we may cancel the order and return the amount paid for it. This avoids parcels that cannot be completed or that create customs problems we cannot resolve.

If a parcel comes back because the address was wrong or because nobody was available to receive it, contact owalalife@gmail.com. We will tell you whether it can be sent again and whether a second shipping charge applies. A second charge applies only when the first attempt failed for a reason outside our packing and labeling.

Risk, delays, and split shipments

After the carrier has accepted the parcel, the risk of loss in transit follows the carrier’s own terms and the tracking record. Tell us promptly if tracking stops or if the parcel arrives damaged. Keep the packaging until we reply, because we may need photos.

If part of an order is ready and part is not, we may send the ready items first when that is clearer for you. You will not be asked to pay the shipping price twice for a split that we chose. If you ordered separate shipments yourself, each shipment follows the service you picked.

International deliveries, where checkout offers them, can be held by customs. Any duty or import tax assessed by the destination authority is your responsibility unless checkout expressly said the price was delivered duty paid. We do not control those assessments.
